Bios, headshots, press kit and recent press — everything you need to write about Karla.
Karla’s essay on her family history with Noongar wailing and grieving processes was shortlisted from a SBS writing competition with over 2,000 entries. It is one of 30 pieces selected for publication in Roots — Home Is Who We Are, released by Hardie Grant in July 2021.
The book brings together first-person essays from First Nations and migrant Australians about identity, belonging, and what home means.
